Other remarkable sites make this walk attractive: Ammerschwihr, Kientzheim (rampart walk and thieves' tower, etc.), Sigolsheim and the imperial city of Kaysersberg.
Colmar, Capital of Alsace Wines
This walk takes different paths along the water with views of the Vosges and the surrounding castles. Some sections of the route pass through town (Colmar, Eguisheim, Wintzenheim) and use rural lanes on less traveled roads and paths up to EuroVélo Route 5, via the southern district of Colmar to the track which runs along the Thur river.
